Instead let's refocus our passion for saving the Planet, the animals and our health and encourage, motivate and inspire others to make positive changes to their diets and lifestyles.

In addition to being GMO, soy products are addictive and they offset your hormone balance.

you're still an angry vegan because you imagine yourself superior in terms of knowledge, ethics and discipline than to soy eating vegetarians and omnivores.

No worries ! thanks for asking : i eat 3,500 calories per day. i am 5-81/2 and weigh 141. my body mass index is 21.5 which is mid range and not low. more than 15 % of diet comes from fat. I run 5 /wk for 100 miles / month. I have won several running races and am getting faster every month. I do weights 1-2 per week and yoga every am. My blood tests are perfect with no deficiencies at all and my doctor says that i am hands down the healthiest person he has ever seen in his 40 years.

I was a strcit vegan for 8 years and felt like crap the whole time. I tried hard to be nourished, I worked at a health food store and brought home the best organic fruits and veggies every day. For protein, I ate beans, tempeh, nut butters, seitan, and tofu. When I began eating meat and eggs again, my whole life changed. Suddenly I felt good again. It was like a huge veil was lifted.
The vegan diet is definitely not for everyone.

Great post! I workout, avoid soy and fake meats, and am kind and grateful for vegetarians, but I find myself being an angry, ranting vegan on a regular basis. Also I eat too much sugar which I know doesn't help with the mood swings. I hate when fat people tell me I'm not getting enough protein. Or when sick people tell me I should get a flu shot. But you're right- I need to stop worrying about what others are doing and focus on improving myself. Thanks for making me feel less alone.

I need to be vegan/raw food cause i've got fibromyalgia, but since its so freakin bad i cant work so I cant afford the proper foods. I was juicing and started feeling better but still couldn't afford it. Its a hard change to make, and meat I do like meat. Just not the fact that i'm eating a animal. :/
