Also, QV looks like a peace of lined paper, all you can see is lines.

it's too bad she couldn't stay in Southampton as a museum and hotel. QE2 really belongs there. On the other hand it's great that she will be preserved and not scrapped!

I would not describe the QM2 as a thing of beauty but the Victoria looks like a lego car ferry on steroids. The QE2 much more elegant and possibly more so than her predecessors.

thanks so much. My wife and I were in cabin A12009, top deck of the QM2 five cabins behind and one deck up from the bridge while you were shooting this spectacular video. Thanks so much for posting since it gives us a totally new perspective. We had a wonderful trip to New York and it was a spectacular day to be in Southampton.

Thanks for the comment you lucky pair,i would have done a swap with you!!!!! it will be a sad day in november for southampton when the QE2 leaves for the last time.

smooth talker not!!!had to stomp in mud and scale up a jetty by a rope, but i did have best view on the waterside only wish i had video camera with me and not just a camera.
