If I know in advance of an event, I will work on myself all week with mini-spa treatments at home. Body & facial masks, nails, trying on clothes + shoes, practicing hair & makeup until I get the look I want. Then I'm not nervous the night of the event & really enjoy getting ready rather than worrying about how it's all going to look when I'm done. Hair & eyes usually take me the longest to do & decide on what to do with. Depends on the event as to how I want to present myself & accent my eyes.

I like to get ready by starting my day off with yoga to ensure flow throughout my day! Then I go to one of my favorite outfits and make up my face to match that usually includes organic and natural products for a clean/classic look. Then I tie it all together with my hair and braids or curls have been my favorites!

I like to get ready early so I can relax before the event! I curl my hair, then put on my makeup, and either do my nailes myself or get them done at a salon before doing anything else to get ready.

I usually pamper my self the day of an event and the day before. I like to do my nails, get my hair done, buy something new to wear, and I love buying new make up!! :)
