Treehouse made with a combination of paper clay, cardboard and cement.
This house is made in 1/12 scale, resemble an old apple tree. The habitants are mice, sculpted with polymer clay.
All handmade by artist Christel Jensen.

    Thanks for great comment:) What I have done is that I used a large sturdy piece of cardboard that I both glued and stapled onto an mdf plate. I glued on crinkled newspaper to make some bumps and for the roots. I used a light weighted concrete mixture to make the bark. Using a variety of sculpting tools to get the effect. The roof tiles are made of paper clay. Best of luck with your own tree house and hope this was helpful.Christel
