I don't think you can say that any of the band sucks. I think they did the best they could with a really terrible arrangement. That switching back and forth between time signatures is what screws that whole thing up. I'm glad they straightened that out by the time they recorded it.

I was living up in Morro Bay, California (and working in San Luis Obispo) during the summer of 1979 when Linda was dating California Governor Jerry Brown. They spent a lot of time up in the central coast that summer leading the fight again again the Diablo Canyon (nuclear) Power Plant which was located at Avila Beach in San Luis Obispo County. Their concern was over the earthquake risk since the facility is located on the San Andreas fault line. In time, their efforts and relationship faded.
