Here's an excerpt from a documentary that aired a few years ago, chronicling the training program of the University of Minnesota's 2004-2005 wrestling team, coached by J Robinson. (Note to the network: this is just an excerpt as my goal is to promote the network as a fan, and to encourage the network to make more documentaries about wrestling and wrestlers. If you prefer, I will take it down. I'd actually request that you sell it or make it available on your own site if you're willing.) If you want to see more programs like this, or to encourage them to make the whole thing available, write to the sports networks and let them know!

  • wish i would have wrestled in high school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yeah weight cutting is definitely a huge thing in wrestling. in one night of an hour practice i lost 6 pounds but it didnt feel that way at all. when it comes to wrestling and weight, its all mental strength and discipline

  • I wrestled Bobbe Lowe in High school. That guy was a beast. He just dominated me and left me wishing I had never walked out there. He is an amazing wrestler on his feet.

  • this brings back a lot of memories from jrob wrestling camp

  • matt nagel is the biggest scumbag ever

  • lmao i loved when he said take em down and push him, make him look stupied hahaha

  • @dsettleascii rule one..wrestlers don't complain. When you grapple em up for time you'll know what need to be done and you either do it or don't . Walk on the mat with no friends...and leave with no enemies.
