@Ktra42 Ohh thank you so so much :) I hadn't expected that much information ;) Well, yes it's for my drama class in school and I'm gonna run for the role of Jeanie :) So I had to search a monologue that fits to her character and I think you really helped me out a lot. By the way: I just visited your channel, is it you that is singing in this video? It's great!:)

@Mini3389 I'd also say that she seems swept along with the hippy movement but isn't always in control - for example getting 'knocked up by a crazy speed freak' and being unable to overcome her devotion to claude despite his rejections. Free love in this case hasn't done her any favours. She may believe in the cause but it seems to be from a more rebellious immature position than Sheila - stating 'I can put anything I want in my body!' and defying the audience to judge her.

That's me anyway.:)

@Mini3389 That sounds interesting! Is it for a drama class or something? Jeanie is sometimes seen as the maternal figure in the tribe because she is pregnant, for example we portrayed her as being somewhat protective over Crissy. However she is still very young herself and certainly not as mature and sure of herself as for example Sheila. While Sheila is a student activist with strong political views, Jeanie seems more interested in the rebellious peace-loving ideals of the tribe.

@Ktra42 Ah nice :) Do you know the musical well? And could you probably tell me what kind of person Jeannie is? I have to write a monologue from her point of view, but I don't know much of her.. Would be great :)
