@sfull006 I asked for an atheistc system,you gave a political one which was succesful due to previous theocracies. For centuries Russians were told that the tsar was the head of the church,that the leader of the country was linked to the divine.Stalin manipulated inheriting a role like this.He brought in leader worship and herecy laws,the Russian orthodox church were in his grasp and the hierarchey stuck with him.It was an imitation of the tasr theocracy,an alltropic form of the same thing.

@moroney1 Maybe you're unaware that Stalin's government executed and imprisoned peaceful people because of their religion. Where do you think he got that political ideology from? You asked me to name a famous atheist system that did bad things; which I did. Now you're copping out.

@sfull006 Of course I cant deny that those men were Atheists, no more than you could deny that the IRA were Catholic, but the IRA did what they did not because they believed in God, but due to political reasons, nothing to do with their theism. Stalin and Mao similarly did not do what they did because of their atheism, but a political ideology. And since atheism is not a political nor moral stance of any kind, simply the denial of God(s), you cannot convulute the two
