HMD is one guy who hops styles like DJs swap records. He's a one man composing monster and I think SOOO underrated. Look also for Futique (his own flavor of trip hop I suppose), Taylor Deupree (his own name, most of his ambient work after HMD), Prototype909 (moniker for 3 man rave performance act, early 90s headbanging techno). Also has his own label '12K' ,and spin-offs. He also kind of invented the micro/glitch sound so common now in modern ambient.

I bought this beautiful and highly-influential double-disc set when it first came out. I almost wore it out to the point of the disc cracking.
