Elliott Smith was the lead singer and guitrist of Heatmiser, but left in 1996to concentrate on his solo work.

Although this is not Elliott singing this is Neil Gust whom Elliott was great friends with

  • They wrote so many beautiful song... If I can choose the best song it'd be "Blackout", but there many others as "Idler", "Something To Lose", "Get Lucky", "Fortune 500" that I like so much...

    Such a beautiful (underrated) band!

  • Neil Gust is AWESOME

  • @utarefsonmetushelac That is the best and most intelligent remark yet!!!! Nice call!!

  • @SpiralsHappen Elliottt Smith in my opinion flogs Cobains music. Alot of Curts songs made absolutely no sense at all. At least Elliots music has a message. Not a bunch of drug induced babble that no one comprehends. Same as his wifes music....Yuk!

  • @utarefsonmetushelac Elliot was over shadowed by Cobain but equally as good. My opinion.

  • @utarefsonmetushelac *Neil Gust. - Elliott was and is very recognized!

  • New indie has nothing on this. This song kicks ass

  • @LlamamanFilms well.. he was playng guitar..

  • @utarefsonmetushelac He was certainly unrecognized in this song. He didn't write it and that isn't him singing it. It was Neil Gust.

  • elliott smith was an unrecognized genius

  • Does anyone have a youtube video of "Get Lucky"
