The split squat is a great addition to any leg conditioning routine. in addition to building strength, stability, and balance through the posterior chain, the split squat is a great sport-specific exercise for developing single leg jumping power.

  • @gmerit1 lunges do tend to make me ache; whereas, this is a pleasant and warming pain - plus, with different sized walls/rails/whatevs the resistance can be increased gradually - as well as with the use of weights or weighted vests etc,

  • Does anyone else feel that these are WAAY better than lunges weighted or not?

  • Jumpers knee, its true name is Patellar tendinopathy and you've given a very accurate dianosis
