you may think it is hypocrisy at its best but for majority of Singaporeans it means everything to us!It reminds us for our heritage and past and it serve as a promise towards working together for our nation's progress.Like I have said,pledge and everyhting that has Singapore in it,it bonds Singaporeans togther.Foreigners may not understand it but the least they can do is to respect.
