Aikido Weapons Demonstration

Aikido weapons, Bokken (wooden sword), Jo (wooden staff) as taught in the Kolesnikov's School (KSMBDA). Weapons help to extend our Ki power (energy) further. We look at weapons as an art form to show flow, control, skill, beauty and power. Our aim is to stop, not to hit. Anyone can hit, but not everyone can stop - this requires skill and practise. Make no mistake, the smoother it is - the more powerful it is. Further we try to understand Universal Principles through all these arts and skills. The idea is to enjoy what we do when we are training. So that through our skills focus and discipline we can have more quality in our lives and enjoy ourselves more.
