@TheMazurka ah that makes a lot more sense, well to go back to the original argument IMO, even the most nationalistic athlete, when they are in that intense moment that is going to determine the outcome of the match, that is all there is - that moment - especially with TT when it is a human vs human competition. Everything else in the world won't matter until it's over.

@codectified ...I exaggerated, what I'm saying is diet is in some ways related but does not completely control your health, your own exercise, born genetics, environment...etc also help to determine. Just like national pride is determined by knowledge of national history, national culture, and possibly adoption of a religion that is proliferates in your nation.
