Rangers HP:400 level:1 Fire arrows VS Mirkwood archers HP:150 level:1 Silverthorn arrows

@DESTROYER68483 I barely ever encounter heroes in skirmish battles (I usually play against Brutal). My problem is that they harass you too much (they know exactly where every one of your resource buildings are). And they're very uncreative; usually they start out assaulting whomever is the closest to them (with that strategy). Playing teams with AIs I've actually had them attack my allies' resource buildings when they started out close to each other and completely ignoring mine.

Mirkwood archers need pretty decent sentries to stand any chance (unless you're playing against *shudder* Mordor). So in 1v1 rush battles you essentially have to get the archers (lvl 2 barracks) and sentries and silverthorn arrows (lvl 3 Forge) before they're that good, at which point Men's or Dwarves' infantry units have disintegrated your base.

Plus, I've had an entire battalion of MA taken out by one catapult shot. In no-rush, a well armed, micro-managed and mixed-up army can kill them off.

wow this game is wrong. there should be very few but very powerful elves like in third age total war. elves have excellent melee capabilities; like the high elf spearmen.

as soon as they shut down the servers they stopped selling the game in stores. That is so sad that a beautiful game such as this has to killed by the people who made it. Look at counter-strike for god sake its a decade old and people still play it, y can they do the same with the BFME games?
