I have no idea why I let myself watch these things. Because each time I watch them I end up crying. Not only for the men and woman who are the fallen hero's but for the men and woman who are left behind.
As a civvie nurse it makes me want to join up, just to be able to serve and treat the men and woman who put their life at risk would be a great honer.
Those guys died a hero's death, although they should never have died.

@fight341 Yeah i'm 16 now, 17 in 17 days. I'm in the Air Training Corps which is a cadet force in Britain. You may just know it as the Air Cadets, we fly Grob Tutor etc.
If i'm a liar why have i got my cadet hand book in my hand right now because on page 8 it is the cadet promise where you swear on my country and my flag. So before you start putting out these statments make sure your right next time.

It wasn't till I left the RAF that I realised what a high caliber of folks I served with. Sadly my video is now out of date.

a touching tribute and the first time i have allowed myself to listen to bagpipes after my brothers funeral we had a lone piper playing amazing grace, which he had at his passing out parade. bob was on XV179, always my hero and forever in my heart. to all other personnel who are also in the big bar in the sky, you may be gone but never forgotten. per ardua ad astra.
