@Kuuuks This is basically just what playing jazz is like, some of the time you'll be playing walking bass lines ome of the time you'll be doing purely improvised bass solos. Altogether a very fun & creative genre to play in. I'd reccommend some of Ed Friedlands books; 'Building walking bass lines', 'expanding walking bass lines' and 'bass improvisation'
