Marte é o lugar mais próximo e viável para uma futura e possível colonização, é natural que no atual processo de desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias como a nanotecnologia, ajude a melhorar a vida também aqui na Terra, como a empreitada na ida do homem a lua.

Necessariamente não precisamos pensar em uma colonização "orgânica" em outros planetas que tenham possibilidade muito adversas de existir vida.
