A Level Film Studies Short Film Extract Directed By Charlie Salter (2010)

This is the Film Extract I made for my A-Level film studies creative project. I wanted this extract to be a scene from a psychological thriller set in a dystopian future.

The extract is an interrogation scene from a larger film. It is set in the distant future, after a nuclear winter has forced the last remnants of humanity to underground complexes. The society is headed by an oppressive authority. The protagonist, Jacob is being interrogated by the leader of this oppressive totalitarian society; The Administrator. Jacob has a gift (the unrefined ability to have small glances into the future, in the form of violent flashes) and so is seen as a valuable instrument to The Administrator. Jacob is dirty and beaten, after having been apprehended.
