Sempre Libera - Traviata Contest - Anna Netrebko

I think we had so much fun with the Puritani contest, we should try out a differnt opera. This time I choose Verdi's La Traviata, and the aria is the final cabaletta in act I, Sempre Libera. I started each one right at the introduction to the cabaletta segment. I am sure I will hear about it from the masses! But once again since we are working with video material not every soprano can be included, some sopranos such as Sills and Gruberova have videos released on commercial dvd, therefore, I am not including them. I am going to follow tradition here and use a score of 1-5 for two catagories singing/characterization. Here are the singers I have included and the dates of the performances:

@PopoliDiTessalia Et vous vous adressez à un FAN de Moffo! Le "presque indécente" est trés juste (même sans allusion à sa "carrière"... "coquine"!). La " Bellissima" fut une Violetta particulièrement convaincante par, entre autre, la double composante de sa voix faite de sensualité affichée et de musicalité retenue.

Eso no es verdad la coloratura le pesa mucho a anna y no la da completa yo como tenor eh cantado la parte de alfredo y de verdad no hay mejor version que la callas y alfredo kraus, y se ve que la que no tiene entendimiento de la musica eres tu aprendiz
