Cremating bad for earth? Are you kidding? It's FIRE.. Ever hear of the four elements of EARTH - FIRE, wind, water, EARTH. Fire is creation as well as destruction. Forests are cremated by fires all the time, this allows for the rebirth of new trees. Do your own research, cremating is not bad for the Earth.

The figure of 80% Nepali are Hindus are from 1990's census. But as of today only 35%-45% are Hindus as Nepalese are leaving Brahmanical religion (Hindusim). The dalits are becoming Christians, while Gurungs, Sherpas, Thakalis, Tamangs are predominately Buddhist. And certainly Rai, Limbu, Magar, Hayu, Jirel, Dhimal, Sunuwar, Yakkha, Tharu are going back to their ancient faith.

That must take ages to cremate someone. When we cremate people it takes an hour and a half in an oven at 1800*c. Think how long that way will take...
