Im a muslim but I am against forcing a woman to cover, if her intention is not in covering her head, then why make her do something she doesnt want to do? ONLY TWO COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD FORCE WOMEN TO COVER: Saudi Arabia and Iran. Even in Afghanistan after taliban were bombed after 9 11 by US troops, women dont have to wear Burqa in Afghanistan anymore. In India/Pakistan/Syria/Lebanon/T­urkey, Dubai women are free to dress as they please, no religous police. I hope the youth of Iran make changes

I agree with you, but only partially. Someone once told me an interesting analogy about criticism:

"In order to truly appreciate the beauty of a valley, one must be a man of the mountain"

In other words, in order to gain critical perspective on something, it is sometimes helpful to view it from a distance (in this case, cultural distance). It is difficult to appreciate something when you are always surrounded by it. But yes, it is also a good idea for someone to know about what they criticize.
