I like the original version much better. This one sounds like a forced arrangement. Somebody wasn't happy with the ratings, and was desperately looking for things to "improve".

I would love to hear the version that played in the first season. All other versions SUCK to me.

@ricky122dbz Hi, The Song was released in 2002 by Russell Watson on CD on his Encore Album - it is track 16. It goes for 4.09 minutes. The album is mainly classical music as Russell is an OPera Singer. He got flack for doing the theme song to a TV show at the time. You can still buy the CD or down load the song from Amazon.

I think the original was waaay better. I actually thought I had music playing in the background. I read that they thought the original was somehow depressing? BS. It scored the intro way better than this not-so-improved version.

This practically ruined the series for me. The theme was great, and then they had to ruin it with this version in seasons 3 & 4.

@ricky122dbz You can't :/ Sadly I haven't been able to find it either, and I have looked for a long time! The only solution, as I see it, is to record it from the show!

I'm surprised this video is in widescreen instead of fullscreen. Did UPN launch a high-def station before they merged with the WB? I'd be surprised if they did.

@peterfinnfilms I'm pretty sure, that the UPN-edition I have is in HD, so I think they must've released them :)
