He is quite good (and i'm not even an LA fan), both in the MLS and in international play(unfortunately he was injured for the England Friendly). You're right though, there was nothing stellar about those clips. I don't really know why those were picked. But, just to paint a picture, he's leading MLS right now with 9 goals in 9 games and 4 or 5 assists. (the addition of David Beckham has really helped him in the goal department because he now has a guy that can give him pinpoint services)
