Haha you lazy bastards!
Thanks for your feedback, I'm not sure why everyones so interested in this, Fritz's design is far superior (at this point), I will DESTROY him with my upcoming design though. You hear me Fritz? I WILL DESTROY YOU!
Here's the gist of it: The firmware is buggy, messy and bloody dangerous. I don't have time to answer inevitable questions about incomprehensable code. It will set fire to your home, kill your dog and give you ten types of aids, plus herpes.

If you read the description you'd find a link to his site where he's posted the schematics. That being said, there are no plans to release the source. This is what's stopping me entirely from building the project. I can source all the material, etch boards, solder together - but without the program it would be useless to me...and I'd pay him good money for the firmware too. I'd even pay him for a programmed chip w/o source!
Podecoet! Release the firmware! Pretty please! :)

Hello again,
I can't find much info about discharge machining carbon fiber, or the conductivity of carbon fiber itself at that. My hunch is that it's not possible to discharge machine carbon fiber without high voltage/plasma
Simple way to test with similar paramaters (without sending it to me), use a car battery: Place your sheet on the floor, attach some jumper leads to a car battery, and "arc" them onto your carbon fiber sheet. If you get sparks/fire/smoke then it might just be possible
how do you trigger, when you want to fire it? if switch, where do you have it?

@First2ner
There's a tactile switch on the electrode (underneath my index finger), was supposed to use a footswitch, however one wasn't available at the time
