  • You are right about the other two walks they are really good ones :D As well as Gary Goldthorpe (Ghost Creeper) his is one of the best Ghost Walks my fiancee and I have ever been on !!! :D x

  • I hope my advise has helped you in any way and i would just like to add that i really admire your dedication to both your stories and your brand. The hat in particular is a very nice touch and if I owned one like it I'm sure i would never take it off. I wish you all of the best with your endeavours.

  • Finally your claims about the validity of the other walks are in fact very easy to act upon. After performing to an audience it might well help to provide a list of peer reviewed, historical sources as support. Not during the stories obviously as this would be incredibly dry and boring but perhaps in a pamphlet after the tour or on your tour's website. I would seek professional help with this however as a misquotation or accidental falsification of evidence may leave you open to legal action.

  • Filming and tech are not really my field and i suspect perhaps that hiring a techie or someone with knowledge of cameras would greatly improve the quality of your production as whilst picture quality is quite easy to attain on a street corner, sound is not due to the immense amount of background noise and interference. Also providing a budget margin for the items of costume/props you are proposing the actors provide themselves would be both reassuring and beneficial.

  • Actors and producers will need more than a title (characters, plot, themes, etc.) you don't have to give away too much (I can understand worries about purjury) but a few more details would be nice. Secondly details of your insurance and financial backing would be a good place to start. If you are in need of funding i would recommend a professional backing from a business (for instance you said you start outside the 'evil eye', perhaps ask them) also a portfolio of previous work/productions

  • Mr. Rooney, your walk sounds fantastic and I very much like the sound of 'Deadly Nightshade', its a very cool title. I do however have a few suggestions with regards to hiring actors and aquiring the means to make a film, also perhaps a way to help with your problems with Visit York. I am limited in my word use however so i will try to be concise and fit it over the next few comments.

  • Fool - thought about trying any of that Deadly Nightshade? Good luck

  • Yeah Trevor , your walk is different. You slag off all the other walks, however at least they are historically correct, have insurance and are backed by Visit York and the council.
