  • First Female Chief Justice, Peace between Palestine and Israel, Solving social security, Him invoking the 25th and the 5 million jobs created in his first term Jed Bartletts greatest achievements?

  • The great thing about the result of this episode, which would have to rate up in the top ten of the best episodes of the WW, is that Donna and her parents cats is what led to it all. Hows do you like them apples?

  • Mahone! haha

  • I've now seen this episode about ten times and I still get goosebumps every time Bartlet announces her as Chief. Awesome!

  • Good thing Sorkin didn't keep Michael Douglas as his President, because having Glenn Close as Chief Justice would have been awk-ward...

But as Chief Justice, she's certainly not going to be ignored.

  • If only real life was like this.

  • 6'4", 280 lbs, have Never lost a fight with anyone in my life; and I still tear-up when I see this......

  • a high point in television drama

  • 1:10 "Hang on, I gotta write this down"

  • Martin Sheen for President

Hopefully he can just act the role like he does in this show.

  • If only the women in real politics looked as sweet, confident and authoritative as Glenn Close....instead they seem worn out, mean looking, with an air of arrogance....almost like being in a job way too long,,,,,but atlas, it is television!!!

  • @jesusthroughmary well spotted, that was what the office was called until the late 19th Century
