Wow he looked and sounded GREAT at the end of 76! He had lost a lot of weight he had gained the end of 75 and beginning of 76. He looked fantastic during that last tour of 76. I still get upset thinking how whatever the turn of events were that caused his decline in 77 after an almost what seemed to be a resurgence in late 76! I've heard so many great stories about that last tour of 76 it's such a sad tale.I really think the book that was about to come out really bothered him literally to death.
