When Gabrielle had shorter hair she looked more mature and sexy to me. When she has longer hair she looks younger, and you can see this in 'Return of the Valkyrie' Gabrielle grows back long hair and looks A LOT younger

The comments about Gabby's (non) butchness are kinda....ya know, don't say it like it's a bad thing. There are a lot of hot butch women out there. They may have short hair, or long hair, but they can still be HOT so don't diss. They're not all fashionless fatties who look like overweight men in khakis, mmk.

ugh, so true. I think it's STILL true today. That, in a nutshell, is why I loved Xena: Warrior Princess the way I did. And although Lucy Lawless is brilliant in all she does, I don't think she's ever come alive on screen and embodied a character as fully and beautifully as the way she did with Xena.

I'm such an innocent I guess because when I originally saw those scenes I never thought for one second 'Oh, her and Eli hooked up' or something like that. I just saw them as having a pure loving friendship and understanding. Also, pshh, Gab belongs to Xena and Xena belongs to Gab--no matter what the actors were 'playing around' with ;) The show--and its characters--are in the hands of the producers and writers ;p
