this arena is using D1 unused tilset from church levels. whoever created it also could limit block chance in PvP at, say, 90%
if the current balance is meant to be "nonsense", this would solve the problem, I think...

With levels equal and a min.100 dexterity(100%block)none of the sword/mace attacks would do damage if oponent dosnt move. If two characters after attack would continue swinging,nobody would be able to move,or do dmg until shields brake apart - u move u die...
So if u want to finsh this kind of nonsense situation u must hit with your sword in direction opposite to where your enemy is standing, then your enemy would know and react with the same gesture swinging the sword away from you - walk away
