  • wasnt this supposed to be done by now?

  • @Pasteldqueijo Pasteldqueijo I think you're right. There was supposed to be one in Moscow too... the credit crunch continues to bite the backside of those who would build castles in the sand....

  • Hi Absent in Romania, As far as I know the music at the beginning of the video is part of Also sprach Zarathustra, op. 3), a tone poem by Richard Strauss, composed in 1896 and inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's prose poem Also sprach Zarathustra.

It contains the World Riddle theme, a particular sequence of musical notes in the melody.

Among many of its uses it includes that of Stanley Kubrick as the key musical motif in his 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

  • This looks very interesting, but I've got alot of questions: How much electricity/energy would this take to keep moving? This vid says that the building is always moving....how much energy does that take up? Would the little turbines be enough to actually power the whole thing? How sturdy is this tower? What if the tower broke down? Would the people be able to get out of it? What sort of weather resistance does it have? Terror attack response/resistance? This tower is very interesting :)

  • Dude....I'll be on the second floor....fuck that..

  • @seanthedonconsidine It can produce energy not only for the tower itself but for seven others :)

  • So awesome!

  • @igorcheteful it wont work cos the plumping and wiring will snap as well as elevators

  • cool idea. thats all though

  • Sorry did anyone think about how human behaves and lives in such a rotating inviroment? they speak about the forth dimension. Well I like the idea but we as architects have to se how a human reacts under these living condicions otherwise its just a problematic utopia... lg from the Bauhaus University

  • @seanthedonconsidine yes, the turbines will be enough to actually power the whole tower and other towers too

  • @igorcheteful this kind of architecture is "environmental friendly" (i'm not sure if this is how it is spelled since my language isn't english)

What you're saying is true, but that is not the job of an architect
