Miku was engaged to a guy ,Rin (The Angel) immediately fell in love with Miku but was rejected because It was a sin for an angel and human to be together so in order to get Miku's love Rin tore her wings making a deal with the devil and came back as a guy (Len) Miku falls in love with Len runs away with him where they get engaged. Kaito (The other angel) who was Rin's past lover gets angry and jealous at the two so he shoots Miku . Len sees Miku dead and gives up his life to save hers.

Okay so Rin was a fallen angel who was found by Miku, and the second their eyes met Rin fell in love with her, but they could never be because Rin is an angel and Miku is a human. So Rin made a deal with the devil to become human (Len). The second Miku saw Len come out of the woods she fell in love with him, they performed the "black vow", and then Kaito showed up and was jealous and shot Miku. Then Len made another deal with the devil to save Miku. Hope that helps....
