@tsuchijunko And yet Japan is obsessed with Kpop right now. Looks like your own people have "primitive" tastes, you racist.

I've never actually thought about this, but you are totally right! .. so I guess I'm a koreaphile because a couple days ago I bought a calculator and the instructions were in korean, I went craaaazy about it (fangirl crazy :P) just because it was korean ... is it bad? :S

Thats said. I actually dont like Japanphiles or Koreaphiles or any such thing. BTW, I am Japanese. They are very superficial and have a chip on their shoulders. I have no proof but sometimes think that they are kind of created by someone. At the same time, I think that China haters are also created, though again there is no proof.

Its very superficial.
As for Japanphile, its kind of new thing. Until mid 90's, Japan was portrayed as mindless copycat or something. Then attitude of foreign media changed dramatically, and lots of Japanphile appeared. How superficial. Koreaphiles are the same. There was a sudden Korean wave just recently.
Now, people are fighting which culture is better japan or korea. Japanphile dont like Korea, Koreaphiles dont like Japan. Ridiculous.
Korea has great culture, Japan has too.

@Ilikemeows No need to respond like that just because of their ignorance do not put down another group Historically all have taught all on something just like in other places in the world one group will specialise and be better other will learn from them and vise versa lets ignore ignorance or correct correctly without degrading our self to an ignorant level. No qualms with you just p's me off when to up left another race or group you need to put anther down...

@tsuchijunko Yeah, 'primitive' Koreans are imitating Japanese culture when Koreans were the ones who educated Japanese on Chinese and Korean culture centuries (Heck about two millenniums) ago. Makes sense...

@2channIist Are you that blind? If she's singing kpop on her second visit to Korea, in which country do you think she memorized the song?
Doesn't matter, you're banned. Stop spreading hate.

@hea4123 Sorry to hear you're so closed-minded.

Actually, I kind of dont like your video here. You started to talk about Koreaphile, but you used Japan for a comparison. There is no need to use Japan, though I agree its easy to use.
You also made a video on J-pop vs K-pop. No need to compare. Korea has a great culture and history. If someone like Korea, they like Korea, and its fine. there is no need to think about Japan or to hate Japan.

@superguizi I made the comparison because both countries have only come into the western public eye in the last decade or so, first with Japan and now with Korea. To describe the characteristics of people intrigued by foreign and "exotic" entertainment, such comparisons are useful.
