According to their website, the FDNY ordered 2,000 gallons of Pyrocool FEF during the 9/11 clean-up. Pyrocool mixes with water at 0.4% to extinguish extremely hot fires, like chemical fires. 2,000 gallons mixed at 0.4% equals 500,000 gallons of water-pyrocool mixture, of which the majority was sprayed on WTC 7 which was the first building debris to be rapidly hauled away:

My question is why you don't hear any loud cut charges on any videos from the day. You can't really cut charge I-beams with anything other than a brissant explosive. I don't understand the videos point about NIST only looking at brissant explosives. What other kind of explosive should they be looking at? A low velocity explosive would not be used to demo a building? Am I wrong?

Independent scientists and investigative researchers have pin pointed THERMITE, specifically nanothermite, as the most probably demolition mechanism after WTC Dust morphology and composition studies turned up iron rich microspheres and tiny red-grey chips which were later tested from multiple WTC dust samples and found to be thermitic extremely exothermic, stochiometrically mixed reactants.
