I mounted it into my dash mount that I usually use for my Canon TX1, just testing the quality while driving. The camera does better than the TX1 in low light conditions, not quite as sharp but being fixed focus it does not "hunt" for the focus while wipers are moving across the windshield.

  • First or second generation Flip ?? anyway goood quality

  • @whooaaaa This was the first gen flip mino HD. I now have the second and really the quality is not that different, main thing is the new one has stereo sound and 2 hours of recording time..

  • What did you use for the mount on this? I just got the 2nd gen Mino and I'm looking to do some dash shots as well. Looks great, btw.

  • I use a Targus TGT-SP suction cup tripod. On the dash I put one of those smooth Garmin disks for mounting a GPS- the tripod fits it perfectly. It works awesome.

  • too bad its focused on the hood >_>

  • Too bad it does not have manual focus.

  • @AbsoluteVoice Thats what I have. Really awesome. Some BMW's and other luxury cars are building cameras into the cars nowadays

  • If you want a high quality car cam system, get the PomCam. I did and its the best one around. Under $100 too.

  • that looks like a good place to fil a movie

  • Thank you so much
