Buffy Reboot Is Good

I think this Reboot is the best thing for everyone given some conditions and guidelines.

I dont think that most of you understand what it means when they say "reboot" it means that they are compleatly redoing the whole buffy franchaise. Kuzui ruined the first movie and never connected with the series. Its joss's baby and he knows how to take care of it. I disagree they would have to use sarah michelle gellar sure it will cost allot but she has to do it u cant just change it. There is no generation boundaries between people that like buffy im sixteen and my sister is fourteen. rebel

Until it is release. They can do anything. But no the main lead will not be Sarah. Like Pine replaced Shatner that's the case. Get over it. Trust me. This is good.

I love Buffy just as much if not more. Now is the time for a resurgence of these series 2003 was a long while back. Buffy reboot will show Twilight what it's doing wrong.

we are not just mad that whedon isn't going to be apart of it (even tho it would be just a rich man's fan fic). but that it has been said that the Kuzui's aren't connecting it with the show. which means they probably are going to use the mythology from the movie that is completely different from the mythology of the show. if they did try to keep it along the lines of the canon of the show i wouldn't mind so much. plus i think this would effect future spinoffs.but i think kristen bell could do it

They are hearing pitches. But all they have said is we dont want Whedon Season 8 movie Buffy. And that makes sense. Things change to the release. Remember Superman Returns once had Krypton not destroyed and Aliens invade Earth. Things always change from now till the release.

And I'm one of the few people who really hate new Trek movie - movie without a plot, with thousand idiocies, characters who acted like immature assholes, shaky cam and lense flares. If you want "Buffy" be like this, then OK you just have poor taste

It's wayyy to early for a reboot.

Fran Rubel Kuzui is no JJ Abrams - she ruined the first film, and she will ruin the reboot by raping the true franchise (ie Joss Whedon's vision).

If you don't want SMG in it, then make it about another Slayer (there are LOTS now, not just one (see Chosen)).

Don't reboot it, and give Joss total control - Fran Kuzui created nothing & is only in it for the money.

How about a FAITH movie?

Just don't reboot, and don't have anyone else play Buffy.

i disagree with you, with star trek it had been decades since the original tv series, Buffy only finished in 2003, it ruins the chance of the tv cast doing a movie thats set after the tv series. It wont be set in the same world, theyve said that. i didnt know shit bout star wars then i went to see the phantom menace and that inrigued me and now i have all 6 movies on dvd and its one of my best and that came out in the 70s, Again its to sson after the tv show finished
