@zmyhrb Indeed, most of the Chinese people I know're Chinese Malaysians, as I'm a Malaysian myself. Unlike many oversea Chinese elsewhere, Chinese here managed to retain Chinese heritage & culture over the generations, as such most Chinese here speak Chinese languages, especially Mandarin, habitually & fluently. But you can still tell the difference that they sound nothing like those from China & Taiwan.
@zmyhrb Indeed... but then again, i know a lot of Chinese who have a lotta trouble getting the tones right themselves. & it might sound weird but, she actually speaks Mandarin better than many people i know who'd started learning Mandarin since young...
@Freemeyou as a chinese and studying in English world, i think the beginning of learning chinese is hard, but after that, you may find it will be easy. i also interest at Japanese. differently, start learning janpanese is quite easy, like english. what do you think?
Chinese is a very difficult language to learn, Jess has done an excellent job mastering it. For Christ sake, @saxquiz is overly critical..... A round of applause for the hard work Jess has put into learning Mandarin.... Encouragement should be given rather than criticism, @saxquiz how good is your English? I am of Chinese descent and I am more than delighted to see Jess trying her best!! Hooray Jess, keep it up!!!
@zmyhrb Hehe, thanks...
