By 1970 Bobbie Gentry had already attained 3 riaa gold records in the U.S, international gold records in the U.K, Australia and elseware, 10 grammy nominations and three wins, two Academy of Country Music Awards and a Brit Music Award. She had started her own production and publishing companies, had a large ownership stake in the Phoenix Suns Basketball team, purchased huge real estate holdings in California and become the first woman in Las Vegas to sign a million dollar contract .

okay, she's a smart businesswoman. And I love her singing (much better then Reba, who i think looks like the joker...) but, dear god, the woman can't dance. Can't. Dance. Awful.

Can't Dance? These are classic showgirl dance moves Bobbie learned as a member of the Folles Berge. Bobbie started out as a professional dancer. She even did the chorography for her legendary Vegas review. In 1970 most female singers stood in front of a mic and sang. Bobbie was always interested in expanding the horizon.

are you serious? Omigosh! If you are serious, i guess i will have to point out that in 20 years disco dancers will look like idiots.
