@CashPresley32 It's been two years since you've put this comment here, but I found it just now and I'm really glad that you've managed to overcome your boundaries and barriers thanks to Johnny. The musician's job is to make world a better place and change it - if Johnny helped to change your world - he deserves to be called great.

Just saw Willie "live" last night. He opened with this song and the moment the first word of the song "Whiskey" came off his lips, the Texas state flag unfurled from the top of the stage as a back drop. I tell you, it completely sent chills up my spine. Flippin' coolest opening to any concert I've ever been to.
Ya gotta love the man, the music, the legacy.....

Johnny Cash is not overrated. He crossed all musical boundaries and was successful at it. He started out singing Rock N Roll at Sun and continued with a few songs. He also sang Country, Folk, Gospel. He could sing anything and make believable. Also I have autism, and the only thing that would soothe me as a baby was Johnny Cash's music through headphones. He was music therapy for me. He helped me learn to read, and to talk.
