On The ONE with Moot: Drum Lesson

On The ONE with Moot Booxlé: the pilot episode. Moot teaches you a few basic concepts and grooves, breaking down some funk rhythms and demonstrating the role of ghost notes. If y'all like this video, and find it helpful, there will be more to come!
The animation was assembled in Sony Vegas Pro. The video portion was filmed on the Apple iPhone 3GS and edited in Sony Vegas Pro. The microphone picking everything up was a Shure SM7B. The kick drum is just an old off-brand drum (not mine), with Aquarian Super Kick II heads. The snare was custom built by Keith Isaac. The hi-hats and ride are some 30-year-old A Zildjians. That's enough info, right?

@ZackDunlapGaming thanks man! Yeah, I have a full kit. This is not even my kit - you can see part of my Rogers kit in my newest video. Can't set up the whole kit in my small studio space, but it's an 8-piece kit altogether. I miss having all those drums sometimes, but it's a lot easier to record a small kit!
