Random Junk - Cinnamon

Another Project of Ben Cooper, the voice of Radical Face and Electric President:

"All the below songs are 4- and 8-track recordings from sometime between 2000 and 2004. Most were recorded with Alex Kane, some were solo. We recorded together a lot before turning the collaboration into anything official, just whenever we both had the same day off of work or whenever the chance presented itself.

Everything was laid down with whatever gear we had at the time. For about a year we tracked with only a half broken sm58 and a borrowed 4-track. It was in 2003 that I finally bought a condenser mic, and moved from 4 tracks to 8. For sequencing, I used this program I found in a clearance bin at a department store. It was called MTV's Music Generator, and it was awful. Drums were either a borrowed kit, or I'd just play a casio keyboard with my fingers. A few were done with slightly nicer equipment, but not many."
