  • Wendel was the heart, but Gilmour was the soul of the leafs.

  • I'm a 6'4 235 lb construction worker and I just started crying like a little girl ... Damn you Stewart !

  • @CrazyHorseRunningBat Did it ever occur to you that he would of rather settled for 1 million, than continually lose much more than 1 million in revenue and sponsors due to these allegations.

  • @CrazyHorseRunningBat Dude, you're such a fucking troll. I have seen you post this exact message on multiple websites and forums under the name "CrazyHorseRunningBat". First off, go fuck yourself, Doug Gilmour is Not a registered sex offender. You need to do more research. He was "accused" of assaulting a 13 year old babysitter. There was insufficient evidence, and prosecutors were unable to lay charges even. H filed with an out of court settlement for 1 million dollars.

  • Mats Sundin should have his jersey up in to the rafters of the ACC next

  • Doug Gilmour: Drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the seventh round of the 1982 draft. Gilmour was implicated in a nasty civil suit involving sexual misconduct and a thirteen-year-old babysitter. He was quickly traded away to the Calgary Flames in 1988.

He was more or less traded to take the public heat off St. Louis and improve the team's public image. A shameful hurdle that Gilmour never got over. He apparently paid the childs family $1 million in an out of court settlement.

SEXUAL CHARGES. A civil lawsuit claims that star St. Louis Blues center Doug Gilmour had sexual intercourse repeatedly with a 14-year-old girl and seeks at least $1 million from the NHL player, his wife and the team. It also alleges that the Blues, negotiated payments to the girl and her family, were secretly attempting to trade Gilmour, 25. The suit charges that Gilmour's wife, Robyne; Blues President Jack Quinn, and the Blues ''knew or should have known'' about the sexual abuse.
