your right it's not her ego, that's just the way a lot of québecois sing! It's simply performance acting and she's renound for her great entertaining shows for a reason.

@waybec102 It's not her "ego." She just gets so into her songs, she cannot help it. She's the complete antethesis of a diva, and that's why people can relate to her so well.

I have mixed feelings about Celine. Sometimes her ego gets in the way of her performance. She has a great voice and has sang some great songs like this one. Just wish she could tone down loving herself so much...

Destin is still one of my favorite song of Céline. The lyrics fit her life(destiny) so perfectly but then it was specifically written for her so...Like it very much it brings me joy every time! I think she sang "Je ne vous oublie pas" on this live 2007 TVA show. If you have it, please upload! I would appreciate very much seeing that again. Thanks!
