a lot of points nowadays are called on sloppy techniques. though the fighters are flashier and more athletic, they aren't better technicians. nor are they faster. they wouldn't be able fight and win against the likes of benny urquidez, al dacascos, bill wallace, john natividad, etc.

Collins needs to work on lateral motion Daniels caught him backing straight back more than once.

How true! He couldnt deal as well with the Boston Taekwondo Clan under the tuteledge of Master Brown and Joe Pina! Mafia in his prime, Pedro, Gene frazier, Ibby Abdalla, Ronald Brady just to name a few. He's beginning to decline in the point arena nowadays. He is still one of the top fighters today though, but not THE BEST.

agree and disagree...problem is judging is different than old school...old school fighters werent as fast...but they didnt call points back then unless you knocked the hell out of somone...so your right and wrong...i think mafia holloway, pedro xavier, brian ruth of course would still hang in the present day sparring..but if you put the new guys back then..judges wouldnt ever call there points.. so its a 50/50 arguement lol
