the intro to this song is called up on soul train by the whispers that debuted on the show in 1980 it was first performed by the waters before them this was also alot has changed like the intro they had ALL the performers in widows in the begening of the show to let you know who was comming on but it wasnt until later that they SHOWED a 5-6 minute clip of the artist that was going to perform and the music/performance of one of the songs they were going to sing
