  • Ive been to this museum as well! i rate this museum high, im sure it was this museum that shared alot of outside cultures and from different countries which was special to me, Egypt, Greese, Asia etc.I also been to Immperial War Museum which was alright, I went to some Art Exibition which wasn't my kind of thing as I only see painting as picture and nothink else nothink else im afraid :).

  • @powerfulsingh Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed the British Museum :)

  • Very good job. Please make more. Especially of the hoard found in 2009

  • I'm coming in 2 weeks and I'd like to see the Flood tablet from the story about Gilgamesh and the Sutton Hoo treasure, one of the Easter Island statues and so many other artifacts! Thanks, William, for the great introduction!

  • You know what, hadnt we hold the Ottomans for many years you would be muslims by now. Only the fear of turks made you help our small nation. Especially the siege of Vienna. Drachma is the oldest coin in Europe, and by the way we have Euros now silly brit

  • WORLDWIDE museum in Britain.

  • iomg i remember last year when i saw that dead guy in that sand i saw him 8 years too when i was 13

  • ive been there to and ive been in the science museum lots of times..(:

  • @alanheath hi . I said back then that it "hurt you" because for some strange reason some UK ppl indeed have that inferiority complex . I prove my claims through the users comments . It wasnt me who mentioned "who is currently the worse off" or any other kind of comparison between UK and Greece , so my comments back then definitely dont justify your statement but the other way around . I had only anger after watching looted semi-destroyed national treasures .

  • I used to spend a lot of Sundays there before I became obsessed with Speaker's Corner. That was in the early 1980s!

  • @sykescottages A lot of it is very recent too!

  • @hoggg11 I think you have a bit of an inferiority complex. Why should you think that it hurts someone that Greece influenced the UK?

  • my response - took the nephew to London :P

  • Thank you. I have added this to familydaysoutonabudget com
