Key tips to securing your next contract

I'm trying to find a new contract, can anyone help me?

I'm sure I can help, I secured a new contract last week.

The first thing I did was post my CV online. There are some excellent online job boards to choose from so find the one which is most suited to your industry.

Then there are Recruitment agencies -- I've built relationships with a couple of reputable agencies and I stay in contact with them regularly.

Your availability is crucial -- I knew I had to be available immediately for interviews. Flexibility is key, I even offered my service part time to start with.

Don't forget your References -- My agencies have copies of updated references so they can be used immediately.

Finally, there's the Interview -- I did loads of research on the role I was going for and the company that was seeing me.

Remember the little things -- I dressed professionally, made eye contact, smiled, stayed calm and kept my answers relevant and to the point.

Follow these tips and you won't go wrong.
