Too bad that even if it's not harmful for him, people will make it by making fun of him and such. These are things most people never understand and you always fears what you don't understand. I do understand your point about being ridiculed, but he was born with something special, and we shouldn't prejudge it as being bad. IMO unless it is going to harm the kid physically, let him grow up w/ it, give the child support and wait till the child can make his own decision about whether or not to remove it.
