not fake at all, there are seriously that many raccoons and they are completely desensitized. We always see about 6-10 of them hanging around the pond where the swans/gooses get fed by the public.

They're totally tame there and will walk right through groups of people during outdoor music events. One time a mother let us get right up close to her cubs without even caring.
