  • Music should have passion. But you know what? It can be intricate, brainy, and still have passion. Listen again to this. One big problem with hiphop is the whole notion of "beats". I know that's what turns alot of hiphop fans on, but it can make it difficult to appreciate music that's not so blunt, so rhythmically regular.

  • No disrespect.. but this music is on another plane (not better not worse) to the music in your profile. I mean I love all kinds of music, but jazz of this kind is "all" about passion... I mean check the drummers face in all this... he's feeling it man... now if only hip hop could get back to how it was in the 80s and early 90s... in fact fusing hip hop with these jazz grooves is something pretty interesting to me..

  • Timing is not that pristine, really weird. Would not expect that from Uri Caine

  • Nothing can touch that Rhodes sound. One of the greatest instruments of all time.

  • great solo! and fantastic drummer!

  • i really can't listen to this because it sounds awful to my ears.. but i still think the way jazz musicians communicate something deep to the people who like it is amazing
